GA500 VFD Bottling Line Modernization Case Study
This document details how Yaskawa and a local distributor helped a beverage producer modernize its aging bottling line by integrating GA500 variable frequency drives (VFDs) with existing PLCs, using a linear Ethernet/IP daisy-chain topology to reduce wiring costs and downtime. The project was completed during night shifts without disrupting production, resulting in improved machine control, real-time data feedback, and a more efficient bottling line.
