Yaskawa VFDs at Great Lakes Naval Station HVAC Retrofit Case Study

This case study details a phased HVAC retrofit project at Great Lakes Naval Station, contracted by the US Navy to Siemens Building Technologies. Yaskawa variable frequency drives (5-50hp, 230/460V, NEMA 1) were selected for their seamless communication with Siemens APOGEE and strong commissioning support, and have been used through phase 10 of the ongoing project.
