Necco Sweethearts Packaging Automation with ABB IRB 340 FlexPicker Robots

This document describes how the New England Candy Company (Necco) automated the packaging of its Sweethearts Valentine Conversation Hearts using ABB IRB 340 FlexPicker robots from JLs Automation, replacing a manual two-step process. The robotic solution doubled production for eight-packs and quadrupled for four-packs, reduced labor costs, and provided flexibility to quickly accommodate new pack configurations like a 12-pack.
