World Bank VFD Energy Savings Case Study

This case study details how the World Bank’s Director of Facilities partnered with Boland Trane to supply variable frequency drives for all building air handlers, using Yaskawa’s energy savings predictor software. The energy audit estimated a 36-month payback on energy savings alone, supported by 50 drives with bypass (15hp to 200hp, 460v, NEMA 1) and Trane Tracer communications.
