MELSEC-Q Series Modules Internal Current Consumption Change Notice

This technical bulletin announces a change in the internal current consumption specification for three MELSEC-Q series modules (QD81DL96, QJ71DC96, QJ71MES96N) from 0.50 A to 0.58 A at 5 VDC, effective from November 2023 for rating plates and manuals, and April 2024 for MELSOFT products. The affected hardware versions are identified by serial numbers on the module rating plates, and the updated values will be reflected in manuals, rating plates, and MELSOFT software tools.
