MP2300Siec and Sigma-5 Rotary Dial Indexer Solution

This document describes a successful packaging solution using a Yaskawa MP2300Siec controller and Sigma-5 servo system to drive a rotary dial indexer for filling food into 2 or 5-lb containers. The solution integrates with an Allen Bradley MicroLogix PLC via Ethernet/IP, enabling variable index/dwell ratios, instant changeover, and improved throughput and fill accuracy.
