Yaskawa V Series Drive Application in Snack Food Packaging
This document describes how BluePrint Automation successfully used a Yaskawa V series adjustable frequency drive in open-loop vector mode to achieve precise, repeatable starts and stops for a flexible bag collator in a snack food packaging line, outperforming other vector drives. The drive’s built-in dynamic braking, compact size, ease of setup, and lower cost than standard volts-per-hertz drives led BluePrint Automation to standardize on Yaskawa for future drive needs.
