SureCross Wireless RTD Temperature Monitoring in Flour Mill Thermal Remediation
This document describes how a flour mill replaced manual cabling to Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs) with a Banner Engineering SureCross® FlexPower® wireless network for monitoring temperatures during thermal remediation to eradicate flour beetles. The system uses 15 wireless Nodes with battery supplies to transmit continuous temperature data to a remote Gateway, enabling centralized access via an HMI and ensuring the mill maintains the required 122°F for 24-36 hours.
