Saber DC Drive Tachometer Loss Detection Option Installation Guide

This document describes the installation, adjustment, and troubleshooting of a tachometer loss detection option for Louis Allis Saber DC drives. The option monitors scaled motor armature and tachometer voltages to detect malfunctions such as loss of connection or incorrect polarity, and includes a bias adjustment to compensate for armature resistance voltage drop during acceleration.
