Process Variable Offset and Cycle Time Notes
This document describes how to modify the actual process variable value using an offset, which affects all PV-dependent functions like control, display, and alarm, and warns that this acts as a calibration adjustment with no indication when active. It also explains that the cycle time value depends on the process and output type, recommending a large cycle time for relay outputs to maximize relay life and a lower cycle time for SSR drive outputs.
