Premset Modular Vacuum Switchgear Technical Memo

This document describes Schneider Electric’s Premset range of medium-voltage modular vacuum switchgear, which uses the Shielded Solid Insulation System (2SIS) to combine harsh environment withstand, compact size, and high modularity without SF6 gas. It highlights the system’s drastically reduced internal arc probability, improved safety and availability, and ease of installation via flat interface connections.
