ABB Stressometer Flatness Control System Case Study

This document describes how an ABB Stressometer flatness measurement and control system, enhanced with the patented ESVD (Extended Singular Value Decomposition) method, improved productivity by 5% and operational reliability at a Northern European stainless steel plant. The plant produces high-quality, 100% recyclable stainless steel coils using up to 80% recycled content, with upgrades applied to Sendzimir cluster mills.
