PCS100 UPS-I Industrial UPS Case Study

This document describes how ABB provided a 1500 kVA PCS100 UPS-I industrial UPS to Sensirion, a Swiss sensor manufacturer, to prevent production downtime caused by frequent voltage sags and short power outages. The solution uses ultracapacitors for compact, low-maintenance power protection, resulting in a 100% improvement in power supply reliability and avoidance of multiple production outages.
